Our Wobbler program is the youngest entry point to Grade Lutheran Childcare, welcoming young ones beginning at twelve-months of age, caring and nurturing them until they are ready to transition into the Toddler classroom somewhere between 18 and 24 months. The varience of transition date acknowledges children are square pegs; each one is created uniquely by God. Our staff facilitate a developmentally appropriate program aligned to national and state standards for wobblers and toddlers, observing for markers of development, from size to social skills, that naturally suggest when a child is ready to progress. These littles benefit from our most intimate space, no greater than seven children (often six or less) as they learn to control their bodies, engage with others, and sometimes perform tasks like sharing, waiting a turn, and eating alongside peers for the first time. Their classroom is outfitted with the tiniest furnishings of our Center; don't even think about sitting in one of those tiny chairs, but for Wobblers, everything seems just right sized. As a Christian Childcare, these littlest ones enjoy Bible stories and songs, and even learn to pray, share, and forgive just as God invites us to do. Most of all, our Wobblers are surrounded by the unconditional love of committed Christian teachers, all appropriately trained and eager to care for your precious ones as the special children of God they are.
