Once a child is about 30-months old and can reliably utilize the bathroom (potty training is in the past), he/she is ready to move to our preschool room. Our preschool program is for children from the time they leave the toddlers to when they are just a year away from Kindergarten. We maintain a variety of centers and activities in the classroom to engage children just where they are at, developmentally and academically. Younger children tend to be more interested in play; as they age, their curiosity and creativity broadens, and we are ready to feed their interests. Our trained early childhood educators engage with each student and channel their energy and curiosity into varied learning experiences year round, with a focus on social skills, cooperative activities, and preparation for the next level of learning. As with our toddler program, the preschool program is a nurturing Christian environment that ensures each of our young ones knows they are God's special creations, deeply loved by our Heavenly Father. They hear regularly that God loves us so much He sent His Son Jesus into the world for us, making us all His brothers and sisters in God's family. Preschoolers learn how to love and care for each other just as God loves us.
